Tone Report: First, know that we play test ALL our guitars thru a Fender Twin Reverb, with the tone controls set at a very blah 5 straight across. That way we have a little more consistency when comparing tone. The true test comes when you tune up a guitar and play it acoustically and this one really passed the test. Very clean, clear, distinct and LOUD! When we plugged it in we found this guitar, with the selector switch in either the bridge or middle position, to be very bright. Very little if any tone change between the two. The neck pickup was just a bit warmer but the overall brightness of the P-90 pickups still came thru. This would be a perfect guitar for those of us playing country, early 50's rock or those that just want to be heard above the mix.
