Masterbuilder John English is a long time Fender employee. John English has worked with some of Fender’s other greats like Freddie Tavares and Bill Carson.

What Fender means by Stealth Esquire is that there are two additional hand-wound pickups hidden under the Fender Builder Select Stealth Esquire Heavy Relic LTD. Master Built by John English plain black Esqure pick guard that are wired to a 5-way switch.
